Lovely Supermodel Helena Christensen pulled crowds of interested spectators to the inner sanctum of the Brown Thomas lingerie rooms yesterday.
 

The georgeous model was advertising her very first capsule collection for Triumph, the 125-year-old Swiss German brand without a doubt perking its image courtesy of the hot the georgeous model. The georgeous model has created a small collection of pieces for the vibrant "Essence" range, a bra, briefs and a black stretch lace corset “skirt” with removable suspenders.
 
Much to the chagrin of the male audience, she was not sporting the lingerie on her "once Perfect" body, she was dressed demurely in a silk dress by designer Dries Van Noten and pink patent stilettos. “I’m not into anything constricting like wires and padding – G-strings are not my style. I would rather look sensual and comfortable rather than sexual,” she told the crowd. “I’ve enjoyed being more than just the face and body of the brand. I’ve collected vintage lace since I was a teenager and have always loved vintage shapes in lace. It was interesting to research its history.”
 
The georgeous model is currently working on the next collection.

Being a former lingerie model you'd think Danielle Lineker would be no stranger to wearing a skimpy two-piece.

But the 32-year-old appears to be keeping herself covered up while holidaying in St Barts – well sort of.

Danielle was spotted at the beach with her husband Gary for the second day in a row yesterday but she still wasn't showing off her body completely.

Victoria’s Secret pledges to investigate claims

Victoria's Secret has responded to allegations that child labour was used in the production of its underwear line.

An investigation by Bloomberg reported that children as young as ten had been working in the Burkina Faso cotton fields that supply fibres to factories used by the lingerie giant.

In a statement today Victoria's Secret parent company Limited Brands Inc pledged to investigate the claims.

The young royal has reportedly rekindled his relationship with lingerie model Florence Brudenell-Bruce whom he broke up with in August this year.

According to Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, the couple have been spending some intimate time together.

Rhian Sugden Touching Herself

Glam model Rhian Sugden can be seen touching herself in a very daring male cancer awareness campaign aimed at de-stigmatizing testicle examination.  In this bold marketing campaign, the model is seen touching herself in the video with a dramatic twist.  The whole idea behind making such a bold short film is to remove any stigma among 18-35 years regarding early testing regarding testicular cancer. 

The video was created by JWT London, an advertising agency and will be hosted on the charity Male Cancer Awareness Campaign’s YouTube channel.  The chief executive of the charity, Patrick Cox, hopes to increase testicular cancer awareness through this video which in the end will prompt young men to check themselves for testicular cancer. 

The video is being heavily advertised throughout London with a teaser of the video, aimed at gaining the maximum attention from the public regarding this highly stigmatized issue among young males.

Tori Spelling lingerie shopping whilst Pregnant!!

A very pregnant Tori Spelling who is expecting her third child in October was spotted shopping for lingerie at Agent Provocateur in Los Angeles.  She was seen wearing a grey strapless maxi dress which clearly showed her baby bump and looked ready to pop.  Although the star initially started her search for traditional lingerie she was quick to change her mind since she finally opted for the racy lingerie at Agent Provocateur. 

Throughout the time she spent at the retail store, the star was found making gestures towards her stomach and breasts- this could either be to describe what she was looking for or perhaps she was in pain.  The celebrity recently admitted that she was quite unsure about her parental skills and still do not know if she is taking the right decisions regarding her kids with husband Dean Mc Dermott.  Tori Spelling was finally seen picking up a white and black lingerie, but what she ultimately bought remains a secret-may be she bought both!

Choosing the right lingerie for your wedding

Lingerie is a sexual mechanism that has been used for years to lure men but when it comes to choosing the right lingerie, pick up one which suits you and one in which you feel comfortable.  When it comes to your bridal lingerie, you need to make sure you choose the right lingerie and here are some tips.

Firstly choose a bra which suits you well and one in which you feel comfortable.  It is advisable that you go for a brand name you are familiar and comfy with.  You can buy a strapless bra in case your dress has a low or wide cut neckline or slender straps.  On the other hand, if your dress has a low cut back, go for a backless bra that hooks along the waist. 

If you want to slim down, opt for a Lycra or Spandex slimmer but remember to choose one which will provide you with comfort for long periods.  You should bring it to your fitting prior to the wedding since it may change the fit of your dress.

Wear underwear that are comfortable and that won’t show in the light; you can also opt for sexy garter belts but make sure that they do not snap during a dance for example. 

Invest in a slip if you are wearing a sheath dress or some hosiery of any style so long as it’s in harmony with your overall gown. 

As a note of caution, always make it a must to try everything on to see if you are comfortable.  You surely do not want to spend your wedding day praying when to get out of your dress!

Lingerie Trends for 2012

The Lingerie Market was organized in New York City two weeks ago where lingerie firms exhibit their collection of lingerie.  It comprises of some of the top high end designers in the lingerie market as well as other people from the lingerie niche.  Basically it regroups not only producers of lingerie but also writers, retailers and designers in general. 

Bright colors seem to be in vogue for the year 2012 so far as lingerie trends are concerned with more and more bright colors like coral, plum and teal being in demand.  Research has it that colors can be a great mood booster and major lingerie lines have taken note of that fact.

Another major trend involves prints-be it floral print, animal print or some other vintage inspired prints-lingerie with prints was all over the tradeshow floor. 

Finally, the last major trend identified involved the come-back of sheers and laces.  The femininity of sheer and elegance of lace is back and many lingerie designers have presented lace or sheer lingerie in their new collections.
