On your wedding day, you want to look fabulous. To look beautiful more than anybody else and how better do you do that without wearing a wedding day corset to enhance your body shape, to get that hourglass shape. You really do not want to spend a fortune when preparing for your wedding. You can reduce the cost by making your own bridal corset.
Just have your measurements taken by your dressmaker and then you can do the rest of the making. As much as you will be saving an extra buck, you also feel like you have control on your special day. Bridal corsets are popular garments that make you feel and look beautiful on that special day of your lifetime. Your wedding day is one of the few days that you want to remember for the rest of your life and you have to make it as memorable as possible.
Cut your pattern pieces to your desired size or one size up. It is always easier to subtract than it is to add when you are making designs. Lay your pieces on the table and then place the design cutouts on the fabric that you are going to use. Place the designs cut outs on the wrong side of the material and mark your measurements. Start at the center front seam and start sewing to the centre.
After that, set your sewing machine to 2.5 (normal) stitch length and start sewing from the center out. Start from the right, then the left and then join them at the middle. Stitch across the seam line so that the vertical seam line will not pull apart when you tighten the lacing. After that sew on the suckers so that you can place the laces and lace them up after you are done. You can add an inch to the bust area at the top for a little coverage. Once the boning is done, your bust will be in place and there will be no falling out. You can add an inch and a half to the front and sides tapering to the back length.
After this, your wedding day corset is done and you are ready to get married.
